Tribute to HE Major-General vitez Janos Karaszy-Kulin GCStG

Dear Chevaliers and Dames,

It is with great sadness that we reported the death of our beloved Grand Master, Major-General vitez Janos Karaszy-Kulin, GCStG GCLJ, & c., Hero of the Hungarian Uprising, peacefully at home Sunday evening 19th October 2008, after a long illness.

Our Grand Master was working to the last moment, and departed from us "in harness" in the Order that he loved so much. He has departed from us with the Order in good shape and new Grand Priories now established.

Requiescat in Pace, soldier and friend!

Yours under the Banner of St George,

Simon McIlwaine
Grand Prior for the United Kingdom, Deputy Grand Master.
