SATURDAY 31ST MARCH 2012 9.30 AM AT THE CHELSEA GATE ENTRANCE ROYAL HOSPITAL ROAD LONDON SW3 4SR £60 PER PERSON - ALL PROCEEDS TO THE ROYAL HOSPITAL The International Knightly Order of St George has become a Platinum Patron of the Royal Hospital at Chelsea and in order to raise a further significant sum of funds for the Pensioners at the Royal Hospital we have organised an opportunity to go on a private guided tour of this historic military hospital, to be followed by luxury luncheon buffet at a private reception in the Royal Hospital. The purpose is to contin-ue to develop the links between The Order of St George and The Royal Hospital, to support those that have served our nation, often in time of war, and who now require the in-house support provided by the Royal Hospital. This cements our commitment not only to honour those who have served, but it extends our support to the elderly and retired, our most senior citizens. Please note that all £60 of the charge is going to the Royal Hospital. We are strictly limited to 50 places for this tour and almost half the places have already been taken up, so you are advised to book at your earliest convenience to avoid disappointment. Tour of Lords Cricket GroundDate to be announced 
Private Guided Tour of Lords, The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), The Home of Cricket with light lunch. For all our members who are cricket fans and those interested in cricket and sports history, there is a rare opportunity to tour Lords, later this summer. This by kind permission of one of our Officers, who is a member of the MCC and who is also one of the volunteer tour guides, we will be organising a tour of the home of cricket. The tour will be followed by a light lunch. Cost of the tour and lunch will be £25 and all profits will go to the Children of Watamu Happy Home. Annual Service of Investiture 2012The next Annual Service of Investiture will be held on Saturday May 19th, 2012 at Rochester Cathedral. 
Further details will be published in due course, but please reserve Saturday 19th May in your diary. The Investiture is the Order's principle annual event and is always an extremely enjoyable and successful occasion. |
