Support for the Mongolian Red Cross

The International Knightly Order of St George has chosen to financially support the Mongolian Red Cross Society (MRSC).  In addition, members of The Order have personally donated to this fine Humanitarian Organization.

The MRSC is a non-governmental, humanitarian and auxiliary to the public, organization established on a volunteer basis, functioning on the self-governing principle with the purpose to support government humanitarian policy and guide line, and to embody the work and principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, provisions of 1949 Geneva Conventions and its two Additional Protocols.

The overall purpose of the MRCS is to prevent and alleviate human suffering, to protect life and health, and to protect human dignity with complete impartiality of their nationality, race, age, sex, religious beliefs, class or political opinion; promote understanding and friendship amongst all people and to contribute to world peace.

The MRCS does this by:    

• Providing Health & First Aid Training
• Blood Donor Dissemination
• HIV/AIDS, STD Programs
• Social Welfare Services
• Disaster Preparedness & Disaster Relief
• Operation of Regional Disaster Centres
• Red Cross Youth Programs

             
What finer cause can an Organization like The International Knightly Order of St George whom has as an objective to assist the needy with both mental and material support.  All Members are encouraged to support this worthwhile Organization.
