The Grand Priory is delighted to announce the formation of its new Commandery of Thistle and Rose, based in Scotland and under the management of Chevalier Stephen Campbell KCStG, a leading Christian businessman.

Chevalier Stephen and the Scottish knights-who are prominent members and officials in their local communities bring with them several years’ experience in charitable fund raising and they are eager to develop the charitable profile of the Order north of the Border.

Grand Prior McIlwaine described the consecration of the second regional Commandery "as a highly significant step towards establishing an active presence for the Order in all the 4 countries of the United Kingdom. Our Commandery of the Duchy of Lancaster has done outstanding work under Dame Muriel Taylor's energetic leadership and we have every confidence that Chev. Stephen and his “team” will follow in their footsteps."

It is hoped that a Commandery will be chartered in Northern Ireland within the next 2 years.
